A. AmeriCare provides Adult Day Health Care Services, and Adult Day Program Services between
the hours of 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Office hours 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

A. AmeriCare's program assists people who wish to achieve their optimal level of health and
independence while enjoying daily activities
Q. Does Insurance pay for AmeriCare Services?
A. For those persons who are eligible, program costs can be covered by:
- Molina Medi-Cal HMO, Molina Medi-Connect HMO
- Health Net Medi-Cal HMO, Health Net Medi-Connect HMO
- Community Health Group Medi-Cal HMO
- Care 1st Health Plan Medi-Cal HMO
- Kaiser Health Plan Medi-Cal HMO
- Veterans Adminstration (VA Insurance)
- Private Pay
- Medi-Cal Fee for Service in Special Cases
- Some LTC Insurance

A. AmeriCare is located in the North County, near the San Marcos Community Center. You can view

Q. What kind of transportation arrangements do I need to make?
A. Transportation to and from the facility is provided by AmeriCare as a part of the service at no
additional charge in most cases. Call AmeriCare to find out transportation availability in your area
Q. I don’t know if my mother/father will be comfortable at the center with all new people,
should I do?
A. Call AmeriCare center to arrange a one time FREE no obligations VISIT day, family members are
encouraged to attend with their loved ones
Q. My parents do not speak English – will he or she be comfortable at AmeriCare?
A. AmeriCare staff speak English, Spanish, Tagalong, Farsi, Russian and other languages
